ARLYPON® VPC is a clear liquid at 25°C Example of use
ARLYPON® VPC thickens acidic solution like, for example, hydrochloric, phosphoric, citric, sulphamic etc. acid solutions. By adding ARLYPON® VPC in acidic solutions, an increasing of viscosity occours. The viscosity increasing depends on the kind and on the amount of acid and perfume and on the amount of ARLYPON® VPC used in the formulation. The dosage in formulation is usually 1.5% - 5%, depending on the required viscosity. Usually with weak acids a little amount of Texapon® EHS or sodium chloride is requested to reach the required viscosity. ARLYPON® VPC can be used with all kinds of anionic, cationic and amphoteric surfactants.
