Example of use
The product is used as a non-microbicidal deodorant active substance. The action principle is based on a pH value dependent reversible inhibition of the enzymatical degradation of sweet ingredients, epidermal residues and skin surface fat, so that bad-smelling degradation products cannot develop. Formulations which contain HYDAGEN® C.A.T. should be adjusted to a pH value of 4 to 5. HYDAGEN® C.A.T. is not suitable for the application in alkaline formulations, e.g. soaps and alkaline deodorant sticks. The application concentration is 1-5 % on average.
