White powder, with a weak odor.
Example of use
Usual dose of use : 3 % - 5 %.
Mode of incorporation into a cosmetic product :
Dissolve PHOTOTAN® LS 2261 E in the formulary constituent water, being first heated up to 80°C or so; continue with the usual modus. For some preparations (emulsion), prepare an aqueous mother solution, extemporaneously incorporated into the emulsion during the cooling process down to 45°C or so.
Optimal pH : between pH 5 and pH 8.
PHOTOTAN® LS 2261 E, a biotechnological active ingredient with tanning efficacy, is recommended for being used as a suntan inducer and accelerator, and as a natural photo-defender in sun or day care products and specific anti-stretch mark preparations.
