Preparations in the laboratory
Phase I: Mix Emulgade PL 68/50, the oils, the UV filters and Lanette E at approx. 50°C temperature
and stir for approx. 15 minutes to disperse Lanette E. Phase II: Add Laponite XLG and Zinc Oxide and disperse homogeneously
for 15 minutes. Homogenise the oil / pigment phase by means of a suitable dispersion unit (e.g. Ultra Turrax). Phase III:
Add the cold water phase to the oil / pigment phase while stirring. Stir for 15 minutes. Avoid incorporation of air. Homogenise
once again by means of a suitable dispersion unit (e.g. Ultra Turrax) in order to improve stability and structure. Continue
stirring for about 5 minutes. Phase IV: Add preservative and perfume when suitable. If neccessary adjust the pH-value.
