Example of use

Texapon® HC Granulate is used as surfactant for the manufacture of hand cleaning pastes. Especially for customers who meet difficulties in terms of handling and processing of FAS pastes due to an insufficient equipment, Texapon® HC Granulate is an interesting alternative.

The granules are

• easy to handle

• high in active matter content

• a solid with excellent flowability

• easy to store over long periods

• not prone to hydrolysis

• quickly soluble in warm water at 70°C

As a result of application trials we recommend to dissolve Texapon® HC Granulate in the amount of water required by the formulation at 70 °C prior to any other processing step in the preparation of the hand cleaning paste in order to avoid inhomogeneities in the final formulation and to secure easy mixing. At this stage a concentration of 25 to 30 % FAS should not be exceeded in the premix solution. This maximum range covers the actual scope of FAS concentrations in current hand cleaning pastes in an optimal way.
